Description
Want a wine expert to take you to the best of the valley wineries? Taste and learn about how to assess fine wine and enjoy lunch in the vineyards. Our tours are intimate and guided by wine professionals which sets us apart. Never heard about BC wine? That’s because we drink it all, right here.
We’ll hand pick the best of the Fraser Valley boutique wineries for you to taste at. Swallow Tail trips are always small groups of 2-6 guests, so that you really get to talk to our contacts in the wine industry (6-20 person private tours can be booked upon request). Our Vancouver Wine Tour is curated by a certified sommelier.
Itinerary
Day Trip
10:15am We will take you out the Fraser Valley to taste at 4-5 wineries depending on how much time you want to spend at each winery. We’ll visit our hand-picked list of boutique wineries to sample their wines, meet the wine experts and stroll through the vineyards. Lunch stop on tour is at the winery bistro. Then, we’ll whisk you back into Vancouver by 4:30pm (depending on traffic).
Private tours include wine tasting fees, hotel pick up (or cruise ship terminal) and lunch at the winery bistro.
Public tours: Winery sampling fees are usually $5 and are not included, but are waived with bottle purchase. We stop for lunch at the winery bistro, lunch cost is not included. Public tours pick up from Pacific Central Station (1150 Station Street) near the Main St. Skytrain station.
Trip Advisor Review: “Best way for a wine lover to spend a day! Things I loved… Our guide was amazing, he treated us like royalty. I loved that the tour was small and personal and we got to meet the wine experts. The wine! I never knew that BC made any wine, let alone that it was so good.” – Jane from Burnaby
