Planned Safety Measures
Foraging trips will have reduced number of participants, (max 6-17) well under the 50 person Health Canada recommended maximum. All programs take place outdoors where the risk of COVID-19 transmission is reduced due to the ease of physical distancing and open air ventilation. Movement pathways for each program site will be evaluated prior to the start of each program to identify potential pinch points to avoid. There will be no food service to reduce touch point contamination. Guests will be instructed to maintain 2m distance at all times between each group/bubble and the guide.
Our supper clubs and pop-up restaurants are on hold for now probably until May when we can host them outside for small groups.
Management will review current BC’s Center for Disease Controls (BCCDC) Safety COVID-19 recommendations, protocols and measures before delivering programs and events. Planning will be updated accordingly based on up to date information on Covid-19.
- Guides will begin each program by assessing their personal health as related to symptoms of COVID-19 and cancelling any program if any symptoms are present
- Hand sanitizer will be onsite and all guests and guides will be required to use it at the start of the tour
- Full names and contact info will be taken at the start of each tour for contact tracing and kept on file
- Guides may choose to wear non-medical masks while leading programs but these are not required as long as physical distancing is possible.
If you are a guest that has any of the covid-19 symptoms, STAY HOME:) We are happy to give you a credit for a future tour.
Please bring a mask and wear it properly on tour and distance appropriately (2m from any other guest not in your social bubble).
