This mushroom foraging foray to the Malcolm Knapp research forest with Chef Robin Kort will focus on how to identify wild mushrooms like porcini, chanterelle, honey, wild oysters and any we come across on our walk. Our ever-popular “Wild Edible Identification Trips” are easy forest walking trips with an expert myco-guide through BC’s forest to identify whatever edibles we find and they book up fast! This special trip includes samples of mushrooms to taste!
Note: this is not a live cooking class or a harvesting trip, the class will study edible mushrooms in their habitat and discuss ethical and sustainable harvesting.
